TIP Y TAP RESTAURANT

This restaurant was one of three Tip y Tap restaurants in Santiago, Chile that intended to start a change in the image that this chain has had for many years. They used to look like a German beer garden, and even though the Chilean culture has many influence German influences, they wanted to have a new and original look that matched the upscale Chilean food they serve.

The interior designer created three different atmospheres within the same restaurant. The clean and bright entrance with a contrast of black and white elements, the main hall full of textures and different layers of decoration, and the beer garden space couldn’t be forgotten.

We created a lighting system that highlights the artwork on the walls and the decoration on the tables brightening the entrance of the restaurant. In the main hall which has a double-height, we filled the space with subtle ambiance lighting coming from a rain of beautifully crafted pendants, several sconces, table lamps, and shelve integrated linear lighting. While in the beer garden we illuminated the space and tables with industrial pendants. Many beautiful crafted light fixtures were custom designed and utilized throughout the place.
