The lighting, tailored to each area’s function, guides guests from the welcoming lobby and lobby bar, to Jolene, the pulsating club, and LiliStar, the tranquil rooftop bar.
The lobby artwork was brought to life by uniformly illuminating the piece from above with additional uplights to add depth and dimension, cleverly mimicking the brilliance of a rising sun.
Jolene, a hidden night club, is revealed through a back-of-house corridor where a vibrant zigzag of color-changing lights guides the way. In the club lounge, the ceiling marquee takes center stage with individually addressable bulbs, enabling the DJ to craft a dynamic lighting display, syncing color with music.
LiliStar's rooftop bar blends indoor and outdoor spaces with minimal lighting to preserve the Manhattan skyline view. Soft pendants, planter uplights, and votives ensure a subtly lit, inviting atmosphere.
Each space is thoughtfully illuminated to highlight architectural and decorative features, crafting a distinctive yet inviting ambiance.
